SEND Coffee Morning
Our parents enjoyed time to chat with professionals from the Speech and Language team and the Children First Hub during our SEND coffee morning. Our parent advocate was also on hand to offer advice and support based on her own first hand experiences. We discussed Simpson’s Lane’s SEND offer and the support that is available to meet the needs of all children.
Some of the feedback we received today:
ParentI I love how at Simpsons Lane the children from all year groups are so friendly towards children with additional needs. I would like to improve my knowledge on subjects taught in school so that if my child is struggling, I can then help them at home too.
ParentI would like to know more about what happens in the classrooms and also to improve my own knowledge.
