This week for has been a very exciting one for year 1 as we have celebrated world book day! The children loved coming to school dressed as their favourite book characters. The children enjoyed a range of activities which focused around different stories. For example we read the story Supertato, the children then made finger puppets of the characters and role played with them. The children also had lots of fun drawing around themselves and creating their own book character which they gave a name and story too. We also had lots of fun visiting the brand new key stage 1 library where the children partnered up with year 4 children to read a variety of stories!
